It’s time for an Olive Martini! 🍸🫒
I’m celebrating my completion of transforming a 3-piece vintage bedroom suite for YOU!
When I picked this charming vintage suite up, it screamed OLIVE GREEN at me! I however couldn’t find a furniture paint colour that matched what I envisioned— so I decided to make the colour myself, and I named it Olive Martini! Mixing paint colours is a lotta fun— and so easy when it’s equal parts like this mix was for me! Olive Martini is most certainly a colour recipe that you’ll see many more furniture transformations in my future! If I could paint the town in this colour, I most certainly would!

Vintage Twin Bed
I picked up this vintage Knechtel Furniture bedroom suite from 2 lovely sisters that were clearing out their Mother’s home belongings. It’s my understanding that this suite was their bedroom furniture from the time they were young girls— it also included a second twin bed, however one of the sisters wanted to hang onto that for her own use. I was so grateful they were wanting to part with the other 3 pieces, and I couldn’t wait to start working on my transformation.

For YOU
It’s time for an Olive Martini! I’m celebrating my completion of transforming a 3-piece vintage bedroom suite for YOU! This twin bed with head & foot boards with rails is the third and final piece with my transformation. All 3 pieces were reincarnated in my very own custom colour blend I’ve named Olive Martini— an easy to love natural deep khaki green that pairs ever so sweetly with neutrals, terracotta, and antique brass. Quite the perfect colour for this suite if I do say so myself! A super solid n’ sound Knechtel Furniture twin bed— with a matching stacked dresser and vanity dresser. Ready and waiting for your guest room, cottage bunk room, or child’s bedroom!
