I’m All Yours

Peanut butter n’ jam. Rum n’ coke. Bubbles in a bath. Sun in the sky. French fries n’ ketchup. Puppies in my arms. <3

Yes, it is things such as these that are simply meant to be together.  Country Chic Paint ‘Rustic Charm’ and ‘Antiquing Wax’ are also simply MADE to be together forever!  These delightful products shout “I’m All Yours” from the mountain tops when they’re united! <3

This sad and bleak magazine table shouted the union of ‘Rustic Charm’ and ‘Antiquing Wax’ when it came into my fortunate possession! — Thank you dearest Ang! <3

Unfortunately the ‘racks’ on the sides were damaged and unsalvageable… but that didn’t stop me from transforming this lil’ beauty!

I just knew that with a little TLC, and the union of 2 perfect products — this lil’ beauty would be beautiful again. My transformation went like this:

• Removed broken racks ~ unfortunately unsalvageable
• Gave piece a good scrubbing
• Applied 2 coats of Country Chic Paint’s ‘All-In-One Decor Paint’ in the colour ‘Rustic Charm’ ~ a charming french provincial green
• Gave entire piece a light sand, and distressed in desired areas ~ for the rustic #farmhouse look I desired
• Applied 1 coat of Country Chic Paint’s ‘Antiquing Wax’ to the entire piece  ~ for a charming time-worn look
• Installed new hardware ~ drawer knob

Yup! That simple! The colour of ‘Rustic Charm’ drastically changes when you apply ‘Antiquing Wax’ to it, and I just LOVE the outcome! These pics below were taken just before, and just after I applied the ‘Antiquing Wax’… then followed by a buff.  <3

This once-upon-a-time magazine table, now oozes rustic charm and roars versatility! It’s tidy lil’ drawer and dainty form would be a lovely accent table in your home or cottage! Perhaps you’ll place it near your front door to lay your keys and mail on upon returning home!  Or maybe it will be the perfect touch of charm in your home as a hallway accent. It could be where you set your wine glass and reading book at, when you settle-down to relax at the end of a busy day! YOU decide! <3
